At 31BI-MU: Zare exhibits at the fair dedicated to the manufacturing industry
BI-MU (Machine Tools, Robot, Automation) is the reference event in the manufacturing industry that presents the latest innovations in factory automation and process automation, instrumentation and control, production and electronic components.
This is the ideal context for those who want to find a wide range of technological solutions and alternatives, as well as deepen the issues related to the sector.
Two years later, Zare has returned to exhibit and tell its story from October 9th to 13th in Pavilion 11 of Fieramilano, after the positive experience of the last edition.
On that occasion, in fact, we had set ourselves the goal of making industry professionals aware of the solutions offered by industrial 3D printing and, in particular, the possibilities introduced by the laser sintering of metals.
In 2016, the aim of our participation in the fair was to show to an audience of professionals of mechanical processing how additive technology faced the manufacturing reality and could support their daily work. The challenge was to reassure them that the additive could be interpreted as a new machine tool concept, capable not only of offering an alternative to traditional subtractive techniques but of complementing them. Traditional machine tools and additive machines are and must be complementary. Although additive manufacturing is the ideal solution for a growing number of applications, the importance of subtractive technologies and traditional machinery cannot be questioned, especially when considering factors such as precision, size and surface roughness.
After two years we can be satisfied: imagine a synergistic scenario between these two sets of technologies is already a daily reality and this is demonstrated by the processes that exploit 3D printing and CNC machines at the same time. Combining these technologies guarantees excellent results because together they can bring ever more effective, efficient and rapid products and services onto the market. Above all in design, the collaboration between additive manufacturing and CNC makes it possible to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of customers who require lightweight components and complex geometries.
The importance of an industrial vision of additive manufacturing is reiterated by the fair itself because BI-MU, also for this edition, has provided areas of innovation dedicated to new technologies in the most varied application areas. Among these we point out "Club Tecnologie Additive", a meeting and comparison space among the experts in charge of the AITA, Italian Association of Additive Technologies.
It is a gathering place for those interested in additive manufacturing and an opportunity to inform visitors and industry professionals about the opportunities that additive technologies offer to the mechanical manufacturing sector. The AITA stand hosted the BIMU + Additive initiative, which allowed exhibitors to talk about the activities of their companies. On this occasion, Giuseppe Pisciuneri, our Sales Manager, talked about the following topic "Additive Manufacturing: construction, mechanical recovery and control of critical functional elements" to tell the BI-MU audience about the daily challenges of the Additive Manufacturing Production Factory.
