Zare Prototyping and CRP Meccanica: an alliance of excellence in metal additive technology
An important alliance has been signed between CRP Meccanica and Zare Prototyping, two key leaders in the field of high technology and breakthrough innovation. CRP Meccanica, recognised worldwide for its high precision machine processing in motorsport, has sanctioned an agreement with Zare Prototyping, market leader in metal additive manufacturing technology.
This technology, known as DLMS /SLM, allows the melting of layers of metal powder using laser, and the production of pre-series, prototypes and finished components which are ready for testing, CNC processing, or thermal and superficial treatments.
CRP Meccanica, with headquarters in Modena and part of CRP Group, wanted to send a strong signal to the international market, by implementing the service of Direct Metal Laser Sintering / Selective Laser Melting in choosing Zare Prototyping, one of the main operators at the forefront of metal sintering technology. A union which will create a complete service, capable of supplying the best solutions, both in terms of production capacity, and the materials processed and the technology used.
High precision machine processing, for which CRP Meccanica has been known and appreciated for 45 years, is now complete with the contribution of Zare Prototyping, as a means to increasing the production of parts and components which require both CNC technology and metal sintering.
A synergy which brings together two entrepreneurial realities, both of which are rooted in Italy, in a unique technological coalition:
"Through this alliance with Zare Prototyping, we will continue to provide an immediate and concrete response to international customers, through the implementation of the DMLS / SLM service, a technology which has seen a strong growth over recent years, and which we have decided to develop. Our objective is to continue to innovate, in both precision machining and in the production of DLMS / SLM components, taking advantage of a machinery park which is at the forefront"
confirms Franco Cevolini, CEO and Technical Director of the CRP Group.
Sauro Zanichelli, CEO of Zare Prototyping adds:
"The alliance with CRP Meccanica is an important strategic step in being able to compete abroad and to assert, strongly, that Italian technological excellence is also entrepreneurial excellence
Challenging yourself outside your own borders means adapting very quickly and continuously investing in facilities which allow constant technological advancement. Together, Zare and CRP Meccanica bring experience and innovation to achieve the production of metal sintered parts and components"
The alliance signed between CRP Meccanica and Zare Prototyping will complement not only additive and subtractive technologies, but also the experience of highly qualified and specialised personnel, becoming a point of worldwide reference for sectors such as aerospace, medicine, robotics, and all those industrial areas which require reliability, high standards of quality and the ability to create complex parts and prototypes in a quick turnaround.
